PURPOSE: To dispense with wasteful idle burning at the time of starting and finishing the rice cooking by performing automatic igniting for gas burners one after another immediately before a first cooker is transferred at the time of starting the rice cooking, and automatically extinguishing the gas burners one after another immediately after passage of the last cooker. CONSTITUTION: When a first cooker is placed in the specified position on a chain conveyor 12, a cock opening/closing cam 38 is contacted with a contacting plate 16 and transportated, and meantime, a cock opening/closing impeller 14 is rotated 90degs., followed by igniting on a gas burner 2, and further, the impeller 14 is rotated at 90-deg. intervals along with the transporting movement of the chain 35 so that gas burners 2 are ignited one after another. Immediately after the last cooker 5 is placed on the conveyor 12 and has passed the gas burner located right under, another cock opening/closing cam 38 is contacted with the contacting plate 16 and transported, and meantime, the impeller 14 is rotated further at 90-deg. intervals so as to extinguish the gas burners 2 one after another. |
