<p>An optical transmission system for data comprises an optical transmitter modulated by data signals, at least one fibre-optical conductor connecting the transmitter with an optical receiver, and a data receiver connected to the optical receiver. The data signals at the transmitting side are additionally spread spectrally by a coder connected ahead of the transmitter for transmission through the fibre-optical conductor, and this spreading is cancelled at the receiving side by a decoder connected after the receiver.</p> |
