PURPOSE:To enable diverting of a panel for color picture tube and to improve the collimation characteristic, by leading out the terminal of a storage fluorescent face and a collimation electrode arranged on the inner face of a color picture tube through an open end face of the panel. CONSTITUTION:A storage fluorescent face 6 comprising a collector electrode 4 and a fluorescent member dot 5 is coated on the inner portion of a face plate section 1a for color picture tube. The outer edge conductive section 4a of the collector electrode 4 is formed except a pin 8 for supporting a shadow mask and led out through an open end face of the panel section 1a by means of the first conductive film 9. Furthermore a metal ring 14 for collimation electrode is supported through a spring chip 13 on the supporting pin 8 and led out through an open end face by means of the second conductive film 11. Consequently the panel for color picture tube can be inverted and good collimation characteristic can be obtained. |
