<p>A MANHOLE ASSEMBLY, ESPECIALLY FOR A ROADWAY The manhole assembly comprises a circular manhole cover associated with a frame which is bedded in the ground at the level of a roadway. In the service position, radial lugs of the manhole cover are engaged in recesses formed in an internal rim of the frame. A head section is interposed between the cover and the frame and adjustable for height by means of welded packing-pieces, thus compensating for the difference in level between the cover and the asphalt surface after resurfacing of the roadway.</p> |
