<p>Preparations of reaction products obtained from epoxides, fatty amines and reactions products which contain carboxyl groups are provided. These preparations contain(1) reaction products of (a) an epoxide which contains in each molecule at least two epoxide groups, (b) a fatty amine containing 12 to 24 carbon atoms, (c) a reaction product which contains carboxyl groups and is obtained from a trihydric to hexahydric aliphatic alcohol, 1,2-propylene oxide, and an aliphatic or aromatic dicarboxylic acid or the anhydrides thereof, and, optionally, (d) a monomeric bifunctional compound which is different from (a) and (c), and(2) an aminoplast precondensate which contains alkyl ether groups and which is used in admixture with (1) or as reaction component for obtaining (1) or as mixture and reaction component. The preparations are useful as dressing agents for leather or as textile improving and finishing agents.</p> |
