PURPOSE:To realize an optional partial copying, by providing the illuminating means to monitor the setting surface of an original, the means to preset the copying range of the original and then the means to control the illuminating means by the above-mentioned presetting means thus to monitor the partial region. CONSTITUTION:The copying range is preset by the input device 28 before start of the printing. The information of the right/left directions of the main scan and others is read out by the CPU9, and the data of direction (a) is sent to the A/D converter 31a for display device. Then the amount of rotation of the servomotor 29a is driven via the driving circuit 30a to drive the cam 19a as well as light up the lamp 21. Thus a sheet of the plates which form a square, and other four sheets are driven in the same way by the D/A conerters 31b-31d, driving circuits 30b-30d, motors 29b-29d and the cams 19b-19d, respectively, based on the individual data. Then the opening part is set within the prescribed range. Thus the light sent from the lamp 21 is limited, displaying the copying range on the original. |
