SUPPORTING APPARATUS FOR ELECTRODE PLATE IN ELECTROSTATIC RECORDER

PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus which maintains a fixed space between an electrostatic latent image carrying drum and the electrode plate by engaging the electrode plate including a plurality of stylus electrodes with a bar member through a groove. CONSTITUTION:A recording image is formed on a plain paper with the electrode plate 13 including a plurality of stylus electrodes supported by the supporting devices 15 and 16 in such a manner as to face an electrostatic latent image carrying body such as a latent image carrying drum. The electrode plate 13 herein is supported with the supporting members 15 and 16 by way of grooves 14a and 14b and 21 and 22 and bar-shaped members 23 and 24. Maintaining the plate 13 with the supporting members 15 and 16 at the tip thereof enables effective reducing of variations in clearance dimensions due to thermal expansion and deterioration in parallelness thereby ensuring formation of a better latent image.
