PURPOSE:To obtain the titled tea having fresh taste free from bitterness and effective in promoting the health and recruiting hepatic diseases, etc., by adding specific amounts of AMACHAZURU (Gynostemma pentaphyllum) and pearl barley to crushed bark of Acer nikoensis and compounding the components in such a manner as to be decoctable with hot water. CONSTITUTION:The objective tea useful as a health tea can be prepared by mixing crushed bark of Acer nikoensis with 5-30% each of AMACHAZURU and pearl barley and compounding the components with each other in such a manner to be decoctable with hot water. The components of Acer nikoensis (e.g. rhododendrin, geranine or chain diallylheptide glycoside) exhibit synergistic effect with the components of AMACHAZURU and pearl barley. |
