<p>Title cpds. are of formula (I) where R1 is H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl, vinyl or ethynyl; R2 is H, halogen, Me or Et; or R1+R2 is tetra- or pentamethylene; R3 is H, halogen, Me Et or 1-4C alkoxy; R4 is H, halogen or Me; R3 is H or halogen; or R3+R5 is O or a C-C bond; R6 is H, Me or Et; R7 is cyclohexyl or R8-phenyl, R8 being H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl or 1-4C alkoxy; Y is O or CHZ-O (linked via C to the benzene ring) Z being H or Me; and m and n are 0 or 1. One of a number of claimed processes for prepg. (I) comprises reacting a cpd. of formula (II) (where M is H or a metal) with a cpd. of formula (III) (where X is F, Cl, Br or I).</p> |
