PURPOSE:To speed up a data processing, by providing the titled device with a control part for controlling the electric disconnection of a data register from an internal bus when an error detecting part detects an error and a pull-up resistor connected to the internal bus. CONSTITUTION:When an error is generated in data (a data pointer) received by a data register 6, an error detecting part 7 informs the effect to a control part 12. Consequently, the control part 12 electrically disconnects the data register 6 from the internal bus 10. Since the pull-up resistor 13 is connected to the bus 10, all lines of the bus 10 go to high levels. Since the data pointer is the leading address of a data area in a main storage device 2, the pointer is not turned to the high level state. Thereby, a controller 9 decides the validity/ invalidity of the data pointer in accordance with the state of the bus 10 and controls a data processing part 11 in accordance with the decided result. |
