PURPOSE:To secure a transmission for each measured value through a comparatively low-cost means, by carrying out a multiplex transmission for each measured value through an addition of the optical pulses in the number based on the measured value and then sending the transmitted multiplied optical pulse back to the measured value. CONSTITUTION:The light is converted into the pulse number by the optical pulse output means 11a-11c in accordance with the measured value, and at the same time a specific modulation is given to the pulse amplitude with every optical pulse output means. As a result, the optical pulses 8a-8c are delivered from the means 11a-11c and then added to each other at the optical coupling circuit 12 to be sent to the optical fiber cable 17 in the form of the multiplexed optical pulse 13. The pulse 13 reaches the optical detecting circuit 14, and each original measured value is extracted out of the multiplexed pulse 13 through the circuit 14. |
