PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic toner stabilized in polarity of toner, long in service life, and superior in fluidity, by mixing an insulating magnetic toner with finely divided resin particles chargeable to a polarity reverse to that of the toner. CONSTITUTION:An insulating magnetic toner is mixed with finely divided resin particles chargeable to a polarity reverse to that of this toner. When a negatively charged toner is used, as positively chargeable resin particles, finely divided particles of polyvinyl alcohol, bentonite, styrene-dimenthylaminoethyl methacrylate copolymer, or the like are recommended. When the toner is used as a positively charged magnetic toner, as a negatively chargeable resin particles to be used, finely divided particles of polytetrafluoroethylene, polyethylene, styrene-maleicanhydride copolymer, or the like is recommended. |
