PURPOSE:To obtain the thin and compact recording liquid container performing the steady supply of liquid, and to facilitate the replacement of the container by forming a recording liquid reservoir container into a flat thin type and arranging a sealing resilient connecting member to an outer end of a recording liquid feeding tube that is inserted into the reservoir container. CONSTITUTION:A film comprising, for example a polyethylene film which is covered with nylon, is folded and the lapped three edges are welded with the ink feeding tube 11 inserted into one of the lapped edges. The circular connecting part 12 of a resilient material such as rubber has a small diameter portion 13 provided with a recess 14 and a large diameter portion 15 provided with a small bore 16 communicating with the recess 14. The outer end of the ink feeding tube 11 inserted into the pouchlike container 10 is inserted into this small bore 16 and secured thereto to seal the recording ink in the container 11. The flat pouchlike recording liquid container is placed on a platform 24, and is moved in a direction indicated by the arrow to permit a needle pipe line 26 to pierce the connecting part 12, so that the container 10 is mounted to an ink jet recording apparatus. |
