PURPOSE:To speed up rising of electric charging and to obtain a stable charge amount by using a toner containing an ethylene-acrylic type copolymer as a fixing medium and a specified azine compound, and a carrier coated with a specified silicone resin. CONSTITUTION:The binary dry developer is prepared by mixing the toner particles containing the azine compound of 6-10 pH and the styrene-acrylic copolymer as the fixing medium and the carrier particles coated on the surfaces wit the silicone resin having phenyl groups in an amount of 30-60% of the total functional groups, thus permitting the obtained developer to be speed up in rising of charging, small in change of the charge amount with time lapse, stable in charging characteristics, not deteriorated in the characteristics of the developer by triboeletrification, and the image fixed by copying to be good and sharp and free from fog. |
