<p>The casing (2a) is fitted onto a horizontal base plate (3). This plate is mounted (60) on the top of a central heating radiator (1), and can be rotated about a central pivot (4). The casing houses a fan, operated electrically by a convenient supply. In use, the unit is set to blow a current of air horizontally across the radiator and mix the rising warm air with that in the room. At the same time, this warm air is prevented from rising directly to the ceiling.</p> |
