<p>The carrier for a ball can be used for any type of ball, particularly one used in a sport, including bowls and in particular for tennis balls. It has a shaped gripping portion (20) curved to match the outside surface of the ball (50), with a clip (40) attached to its base. It is made of a thin resilient material forming a shallow cup, with projecting portions (1,2) front and rear and a shallow projection (3) each side, between them, between two recessed portions (5,6). The projecting and recessed portions are formed by curves. The shape enables a ball to be inserted and retained, and the ball can be released by squeezing.</p> |
