<p>The equipment automatically supplies fodder to animals, discharging a set volume contained in a vessel fixed at the top at predetermined times. It comprises a metering unit formed by two identical bodies (3,4) joined together via shims so as to form chambers of different sizes. It can be shut off by slotted cylinders (5,6) pivoting through an angle so as to shut off the fodder flow. Each is actuated by a lever (11,12), that of the upper one extending downwards and that of the lower one upwards. The lower discharge can be arranged to open after the top filler aperture has shut, the two cylinders turning simultaneously without the slots ever being in line.</p> |
