<p>An aid to use of alternative moulds on an injection moulding machine comprises a turret mounted next to the moulding machine and turning about a horizontal axis so that the moulds, which are mounted on rails on the turret, can be aligned with rails on the moulding machine. Pref. an automatic stop controls the angular rotation of the turret so as to align the static and rotary rail systems. The rails are undercut to support the lip of a mould tool when inverted. More compact than systems which swing or rotate about a vertical axis to present successive moulds to a moulding machine.</p> |
