Shoe with built-in temp. control mechanism - includes photocells collecting power and battery and heat exchanger in heel controlled by electronic circuit

The shoe includes an electronic control circuit regulating the temp. of the foot either by heating or cooling. The circuit is powered by a battery in the heel which is kept charged by photocells (3) on the upper shoe surface. The shoe also has a heat exchanger (16) and associated fan in the heel for dissipating excess heat. Around the inside surface of the shoe there are a number of heating elements (14) and above the centre of the foot there is a pickup detecting the temp. and supplying a signal to the control circuit. The shoe itself is made in two halves joined along a line down the centre of the foot. There is a hinge on the back of the heel joining the two parts together, with a spring keeping the shoe closed, and avoiding the need for any additional clasp.
