<p>A peg for anchoring to the ground, e.g. on a beach, articles such as towels, clothing, etc., without damaging them comprises a rod, pref. of iron or steel, having a straight section which terminates in a short helical coil of three turns. A plastic screw-stopper with a larger-dia. head than the coil dia. can be screwed into the centre of the coil. A corner of the article to be secured is inserted into the centre of the coil and fastened by means of the stopper. The straight section is driven into the ground to anchor the article firmly into position.</p> |
