Process for producing foodstuffs containing a cereal germ product fermented by lactic acid bacteria

Lactic acid bacteria are cultured in a nutrient medium which contains an aqueous cereal germ extract, a foodstuff being obtained which is free from the poor odour, flavour and tendency to decay usually occurring with cereal germs.
