PURPOSE:To reduce the temperature sensing error by employing as a base bias means for a temperature sensing transistor a pinch resistor whose resistance value varies almost proportionally to beta of said transistor. CONSTITUTION:The collector of a transistor 12 is connected through a resistor 13 to a power source 14, the emitter is grounded, and the base is grounded through a resistor 15. Between the base of the transistor 12 and the power source 14, a resistor 16 and a pinch resistor 17 are inserted in parallel. Moreover, an output terminal 18 is connected to the collector of the transistor 12. The transistor 12, to whose base a given bias is applied by the power source 14 and the resistors 15, 16 and 17, is kept to be off at temperatures below the setting temperature. The resistance value of the pinch resistor 17 varies with beta of the transistor 12. Therefore, the temperature sensing error is reduced despite the scatter in the characteristics of lots produced in the manufacturing process. |
