PURPOSE:To simplify high cumulation of nozzles, to form matrix prints similar to types and to miniaturize the head by a method wherein nozzles and pressure chambers are divided respectively right and left and ink passages and pressure chambers are provided between the substrate and diaphragms. CONSTITUTION:First, ink is supplied from an ink tank to each supply pipe 15. When ink is filled in nozzles 13 as well as in supply passages 14 and pressure chambers 12, voltage is impressed on an electrode 18 and an electrode 19 of a piezoelectric element 17. Displacement of the piezoelectric element 17 bends a diaphragm 16, decreases the volume of a pressure chamber 12, and injects ink in the form of drops of ink 21 to print the recording paper 22. Diaphragms 16 on both sides face each other at an angle alpha and drops of ink 21 are injected toward the recording paper 22 with an angle alpha. Therefore, the recording paper 22 should be arranged at the intersecting position of the drops of ink 21. |
