Abutment device for two optical fibres, comprising guiding means for optical fibres (1, 2) to be joined end to end including a pair of rectilinear mutually adjacent rods (3, 4) of cylindrical section forming a guiding cradle in which the optical fibres glide, and including pressing means, characterized in that said pressing means act on at least one shoe (5) of elastic material, the shoe exerting simultaneously a driving force (F1 ) on one of the two fibres, making it glide in the guiding cradle towards the other fibre to be abutted, and a bending force (F301 -F302 ) on each of the rods, by which the pair of rods is incurved.</p> |
