摘要 <p>A method of sensitive, highly located and prompt measurement of liquid or gas leaks from closed plants, esp vessels and pipes in the nuclear and chemical industries, more specifically reactor primary circuits, consists of sampling numerous regions, and carrying out the collection, analysts and processing of the samples at a central, remote location. The location is chosen to eliminate ambient influences from radiation, temperature, humidity etc from the instrumentation. Specifically, tubes or small pipes are used for taking specimens from the ambient atmosphere in the region of pipes, ducts, etc., the samples being continuously extracted and fed to the analysis equipment. The method enables accurate determination of "leakage before rupture" to be achieved. Rapid results are obtd. The results can be quantified and qualified.</p>
