Plastic mouldings, partic. vehicle components, are produced in two parts connected by a film hinge and assembled together into the final shape after moulding. The two parts are foams of different hardness, their reaction materials are foamed one after the other, the first one being moulded, placed in the cavity for the second part, and then placed inside the second moulding. Process enables composite components to be produced with parts having different properties. |
