The cross head (30) carries a housing (28) containing axle (18) with its lower end seated in bearing bushing (31), fitted with bearing element (21), The bearing element (21) is provided with recess on its external circumference, which serves to accommodate a layer of resilient attenuating material, the other surface of which fits into a similar recess provided on the inner surface of the bore of grinding roller (12) in which the axle (18) is seated. In a similar way the grinding ring (11) is fitted in the housing (17) by intermediary of an inserted ring (20) of attenuating resilient material.
