CONSECUTIVE DRY METHOD FOR PARTICLE TYPE MOIST MATERIAL

Continuous drying of damp granular goods uses a burning gas at such a temp. that the temp. difference between the waste gas and dried goods is 150 - 200≦̸C pref. 180≦̸C. A part of the damp granular goods is formed into a vertically trickling layer and is dried by the waste gas of the rotating drum flowing through the layer. The pre-purified gas is fed to an electrostatic separator(17). The thickness of the layer and its cross section as well as the spectrum of the granules in the layer are chosen in such a way, that a reduced press. of 5 - 20 mm pref. 10 mm water column exists in the rotating drum(1).
