The circuit of the vehicle radio receiver ensures tuning to a weak signal of traffic transmitter when its auxiliary delay line suppresses the station characteristic call signal. The same circuit maintains the indication when sent by a strong signal station irrespective of whether manual tuning or automatic scan circuit is operating. The radio receiver detector of the transmission has a section (10) with an adjustable amplifier where the detector is shunted by the delay line (12) and decision circuit (14) driving the indicator LED (16). The delay line (12) is paralleled by the integrator (20) which is earthed by the n.o. electronic switch (22) when the latter closes.
