Real-time display for ultrasonic scanner - has offset arrays of parallel detectors linked via amplifying and rectifying circuits

The real time display has a detector plate with parallel electrode strips on one side, and with a similar set of strips on the other side, but offset. The arrays are linked to amplifying and rectifying circuits and from there to a video processing circuit. The display panel detects selective wavelengths of ultrasonic signals. The base plate for the detector is a piezo-ceramic plate transparent to the wavelengths, with the strips detecting the signals on the overlapping points.
