<p>PURPOSE:To automatically sense abnormality in paper feed by measuring suction pressure sucking paper in suction route with the assistance of a pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A suction pump 9 which transfers suction force to a suction arm 3 through suction pipe 11, a change-over valve 10 and a pressure sensor 12 are provided. If a form 2 is sucked by the suction arm 3, the route from the suction arm 3 to the suction pump 9 is under low pressure and the pressure sensor 12 detects this change. At the same time, the suction arm 3 shifts the form to a prearranged position. Then if the valve 10 is changed over and suction pipe 11 is through with the atmosphere, the pressure sensor 12 indicates the atmospheric pressure, leaving alone the form 2 at a prearranged position. When paper feed is abnormal, the pressure of suction pipe 11 is almost equal to the atmospheric pressure while the suction arm 3 is shifting.</p> |
