<p>PURPOSE:To give an effect, which is the same with that the first and the second intake passages of a carburetor are provided on symmetrical lines, to improve distributing condition of fuel by connecting them with an intake manifold by a spacer with a bent passage. CONSTITUTION:A duplex carburetor (a) has the first and the second intake passages f1, f2. A spacer 1 with a carburetor mounting platform 2 and an intake manifold mounting platform 3 is fitted between the carburetor (a) and an intake manifold (c). Two passages which are connected with the first and the second intake passages f1, f2 are formed twisted by about 90 deg. in the spacer 1. Being thus constituted, when a carburetor for a vertical engine is used for a horizontal engine, the same effect with that the carburetor is arranged on a symmetrical line with the intake manifold can be obtained.</p> |
