PURPOSE:To switch recording and reproduction simply in excellent manner, while connecting recording and reproducing amplifiers to a head in common use for recording and reproduction, by controlling a FET with a negative bias signal and blocking a fine signal with a nonlinear element. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal subjected to a negative bias at a bias circuit 7 is fed to a head 1 in common use for recording and reproduction via a nonlinear element 6 which blocks a fine signal. This negative recording signal turns off the first stage n type FET 5 of a reproducing amplifier 2 to avoid the recording signal not flowing to the amplifier 2. On the other hand, a reproducing signal fed to the amplifier 2 from the head 1 is blocked together with noise at the element 6, because they are weak, and they are not flowed to a recording amplifier 3, allowing to switch the recording/reproducing state simply in excellent manner while connecting the recording/reproducing amplifiers to the head in common use for recording/reproduction. |
