PURPOSE:To enable a connecting rod in a ball joint compression mechanism to correspond to a series of outputs by manufacturing the connecting rod from interconnected halved members to provide various length. CONSTITUTION:This connecting rod 21 is for example constituted from one member having a cylindrical portion 14a formed on an end with internal thread 21a and the other member having a spherical portion 14b and external thread 21b. The threads 21a and 21b are screwed into each other and end faces 21c of both members bear against each other to provide a desired length of the connecting rod 21. Thus, since the length of the rod for a ball joint compression mechanism can be easily changed to correspond to a series of outputs and thereby the compression mechanisms with large and small outputs. Further, said both divided members may be connected to each other by resistance welding or rivetting. |
