PURPOSE:To decrease the difference in output voltages by suitably combining the number of turns of the secondary windings constituting the delta connection and the number of turns of the secondary windings constituting the star connection. CONSTITUTION:The number of turns of the secondary windings 5 of a main transformer 2 and that of the secondary windings 9 of a series transformer 3 in the delta connection, and the number of turns of the other secondary windings 6 of the main transformer 2 and that of the other secondary windings 10 of the series transformer 3 in the star connection are combined suitably. For example, the number of turns of the windings 5 is 7, that of the windings 9 is 5, a that of the windings 6 is 4, and that of the windings 10 is 3; the voltage ration between the transformers 2 and 3 is 5:3, and the output voltage of the transformer for the rectifier is 3V. Then, the output of the delta connection is 7X5/8V+5X3/8V, and that of the star connection is (4X5/8V+3X3/8V)3<1/2>, and the ratio between the output voltages is 0.995. In the case a plurality of the connections are selected, the difference in output voltages of both connections is almost 0.5%, i.e., about one half the conventional value. Therefore, the cross current between both circuits is decreased to one half, and the capacity of the rectifier device can be reduced. |
