PURPOSE:To treat waste water to the high degree simple and with good efficiency by a method wherein waste water containing org. substances in high concn. is electrolyzed at first and electrolyzed liquid is subjected to the membrane separation. CONSTITUTION:When waste water containing org. substances in high concn. such as excretion or a waste water of marine product processing is treated, the waste water 1 is introduced in the first place into a biological reaction which serves also as a sodimentation apparatus A and an oxidizing gas 10 is supplied to carry out oxidation reaction. Herein, the treated waste water is separated into a sludge 3 and separated liquid 2 and this separated liquid is sent into an electrolytic treatment apparatus B. Then, easily decomposable org. substances in the separated liquid 2 are decompared by oxidation and org. substances in the waste water are coagulated because metal hydroxides formed during electrolysis act as a coagulating agent. Thereafter, the reparated liquid is sent into a permeable membrane apparatus D through the sedimentation apparatus. Herein, the sludge 6 and the separated liquid are separated into a concentrated liquid 7 and a permeated liquid 8. As described above, org. components are concentrated simply and treated in good efficiency without using water. |
