PURPOSE:To make it possible to display directly the rotation frequency of a rotating material, by using a reversible counter to control the flashing frequency so that the rotating material may look static due to the light of the flash tube. CONSTITUTION:Pulses given to reversible counter 2 are counted, and the count value is displayed immediately by display circuit 3, and a pulse of the frequency designated by the count value is generated by rate multiplier 4, and this pulse is divided in 6 by 1/60, and flash tube 8 is flashed by this divided pulse. If counter 2 is counted up or down untill the rotating material looks static due to the light from flash tube 8, the display value of the count value is the rotation frequency of the rotating material. |
