PURPOSE:To make a power source capacity for electrification at a minimum value by a method wherein a plurality of heating bodies are divided into a plurality of group and are electrified and heated in accordance with the data of shift registers corresponding to the groups. CONSTITUTION:First, the data of ''1'' or ''0'' is registered in each section of the shift register 5A and electrification or nonelectrification of heating dots 1A-1D is decided. On end of the power source for heating is connected to a common terminal 2, while the other end thereof is connected to an input terminal 4A. Accordingly, the output is delivered only from a NAND gate 3 connected with the section wherein the data ''1'' is registered for printing. Next, an input terminal 4B is connected to the power source in place of 4A, while the data is registered in each section of the shift register 5B. By this heating dots 1E-1H are heated and thus the 2nd printing is performed. The same control is given to each subsequent group and the printing is performed sequentially. |
