PURPOSE:To freely adjust drawing and pushing-back cycles of an ingot by giving ingot pushing-back rotating force at all times to an ingot drawing roll and giving drawing rotating force overcoming the ingot pushing-back rotating force at the drawing. CONSTITUTION:An ingot drawing roll shaft 9 is held applied with rotating force by means of a drive motor 10 for ingot pushing back in the direction of pushing back the ingot. A crank shaft 1 is rotated by a drive motor 3 for ingot drawing and its revolutions are transmitted via a crank rod 6 to an intermediate shaft 4. An intermittent rotating gear 7 is mounted to this intermediate shaft 4, and is meshed with a drive gear 11 mounted to the drawing roll shaft via a clutch 12. The drawing direction rotating force of the intermittent rotating gear 7 is set larger than the pushing-back direction rotating force of the drive gear 11. As a result, despite the exertion of the pushing-back direction rotating force at all times upon the drive gear 11 at the drawing, the rotating force of the intermittent rotating gear 7 overcomes said force and rotates in the drawing direction. |
