METHOD OF KEEPING WARMTH FOR DAM CONDUIT GATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent freezing of a watertight section of a gate, by a method wherein the inside of an effluent tunnel is isolated from the outside air, and an inspection gallery and a gate operation room are kept warm even if the temperatre of the outside air is low normally. CONSTITUTION:The inside of an effluent tunnel 9 at the downstream of a gate 1 is shut tightly with a shutter 11 which is pivotablY secured at the inside of the tunnel 9 or an opening 10 at the downstream. This isolates the inside of the tunnel 9 from the outside air and prevents the watertight part of the gate from freezing.
