PURPOSE:To reduce a load on a processor by performing the overall call connection processing of a switchboard under stored program control through hardware logic. CONSTITUTION:Signal processing control memory 229, controlling signal processing gate circuits 219 and 220 gating signals on the readout line of speech path memory 205 at the incoming circuit side, writes the gate control pattern of a signal to be received next every time an exchange connection signal in the PCM frame is received and also reads and sends a required signal to the outgoing circuit side. In channel sharing processing part 900, a control bit and selected number are received by number receiving memory 506 and while the outgoing route is read out of outgoing route determination table memory 601 and outgoing circuit storage memory 604 to check whether the outgoing circuit is free, channel crosspoint position information is stored in speech path control memory 227, thereby controlling vacancy and occupancy provided corresponding to areas in memory 227. |
