<p>PURPOSE:To enable a called subscriber to know a calling-subscriber's number before answering by sending a call signal to a called-subscriber's telephone set and also by displaying the calling-subscriber's telephone number on a display unit for an electronic desk-top calculator provided to the telephone set. CONSTITUTION:The manual switching unit is provided with calling-subscriber's number transmitter H-3 and through the operation of key K-2, the unit is supplied with electric power to put transmitter H-3 into operation. Then, the output signal of transmitter H-3 is sent to calling jack terminals T and R. The operator, when receiving a call signal from a calling subscriber, knows the calling-subscriber's number on magnet type calling-subscriber's number display unit H-2 and supplies the subscriber's number, stored in the endless tape in transmitter H-2, to calling terminal TR. Then, the operator sends the call signal to the called-subscriber's telephone set and also displays the calling-subscriber's number on the display unit for the electronic desk-top calculator arranged on the called-subscriber's telephone set. Thus, the called subscriber can know the calling-subscriber's number before answering.</p> |
