PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and to improve the efficiency of operation by shortening the required time for copying of plural sheets, by making the rotation speed of a photoreceptor different from that of an image receiving body during the process of forming a latent image. CONSTITUTION:An original image scanned through mirrors 3 and 5 is exposed to screen 2, rotating at the same circumferential speed with mirror 3, by way of image- forming lens 6 and fixed mirror 7. From the primary latent image formed on screen 2, the secondary latent image is formed on insulating drum 13. In this case, the speed when the permiary latent image is formed on scteen 2 is denoted as Vsl, the speed of screen 2 when image formation is carried out by drum 13 as Vs2, and the speed of drum 13 as V1. Then, the operation is carried out with Vsl<Vs2 V1 and when the image formation corresponding to drum 13 from screen 2 is completed, the speed of screen 2 is returned to Vs1 without reference to the speed of drum 13. |
