<p>The safety tyre follows the design of the parent patent and can be used, to a limited extent, when deflated. There is a tread (11) reinforced by a belt (23) and a body (21) of radial type. Each side (14) has, on the inside, a lens shaped part (20). The inner flexible part (20.1) has a reduced section, less than half the section of the less flexible part (20.2). The flexible part (20.1) goes from near the strip to near the tyre shoulder whereas the other (20.2) goes under the sides of the top of the belt.</p> |
