<p>A work table for welding and cutting operations, e.g. for use with cutting torches, flame cutting machines and welding nozzles, is fitted with grate bars to let welding beads, swarf and scale drop into a container below. The longitudinal and/or cross members which are joined by the tubular grate bars are used for the passage of a cooling medium (water) through an inlet and outlet. This utilizes the heat developed during welding and cutting operations for water heating and reduces the environmental nuisance to a minimum.</p> |
