<p>The reinforcing band is made from textile coated with thermosetting resin. The band is introduced in between the corrugated paper and the wrapping paper. The thermosetting glue allows the immediate gluing of the reinforcing band. The band is placed at right angles to the corrugations and in the angle of the box to prevent compression by the band. The reinforcing band is integrated within the corrugations, and located centrally in the box, so as to be used as a carrying handle so that the contents may be removed without destroying the box.</p> |
