Reflector for adjustable angle flash gun - has additional small fixed reflector for direct light in bounced flash setting

A variable geometry electronic flash gun has a swivel mounting reflector (28) to achieve special effects. A small reflector (20) can be set above the swivel mounting to reflect some of the light directly towards the subject when the main reflector is set they bounce the flash off the ceiling. The small portion of direct lighting provides enhancement of the subject and prevents large contrast shadows on faces etc. The combination of the two flash effects provides high quality exposures when only on flash discharge.
