<p>PURPOSE:To produce useful gases such as methane without using power by mixing fowl droppings, etc. into night soil, miscellaneous waste water, leftover food, etc. discharged from home and charging the mixture into a septic tank provided with a gas generator. CONSTITUTION:Sewage and solid matter discharge from home are fed to separation chamber 2 from flowing water inlet 2 and subjected to solid-liq. separation with central separator 4. The solid is stored on the bottom, and the sewage is fed to the 3rd decomposition chamber 27 from sewage outlet 5. The solid on the bottom of chamber 2 is supplied to the 1st decomposition chamber 8, and to the solid are added fowl droppings, etc. from charge inlet 13. In chamber 8 fermentation occurs, the resulting gas is forced out of the surface of the water, and scum formed remains on the bottom. This scum enters the 2nd decomposition chamber 19 and ferments again. The sewage and sludge are successively fed to the next treatment chamber such as the 3rd and 4th decomposition chambers 27, 29, and the gas stored on the surface of the water in each of the chambers is gathered in gas tank 38 through gas extracting pipe 32.</p> |
