PURPOSE:To reduce the required amount of radiation remarkably in comparison with that of conventional systems, by using a line sensor through a direct radiation method to convert the picture on a transparent sheet into an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:A heet 9 runs toward a direction in a given speed with rollers 2 and 3, for subscanning. Further, a picture 12 marked with opaque ink or the like forms a shadow 13 on a line sensor 5 with a light flux of a lamp 10. The light of the lamp 10 is almost made parallel with a lens 11 to radiate on the line sensor 5. |
