<p>PURPOSE:To accelerate night soil purifying action by boring holes in an upper part of a septic tank and introducing soil bacteria into the tank. CONSTITUTION:A suitable number of holes 10 are bored in upper side wall 9 of septic tank 1 at a position 10-30cm under the surface of the earth and over the surface of water in tank 1. The outsides of holes 10 are coated with nonwoven fabric 11 made of synthetic resin, and fabric 11 is covered with fertile soil. Gram- positive soil bacteria in the soil penetrate into tank 1 through holes 10. The bacteria have high power of digesting and decomposing scum generated on the surface of the water in tank 1. Thus, the purifying action is accelerated.</p> |
